Q)  I purchased a ticket to a gig that was at Luna Park or the Enmore and its now been moved to the Hordern Pavilion, do I pick up my ticket from the Hordern?

A) If you have purchased through Ticketek then you are able to pick up your ticket from the Hordern box office on the night. If you already have your Ticketek ticket it will be valid for entry at the Hordern.

Q) I bought some tickets to a concert for my daughter/friend can they pick up the tickets? Or I can’t make it to pick up the tickets can someone else pick them up for me? 

A) If you have bought tickets for someone else and/or cannot attend the show then whoever will be attending will need to bring a copy (a photocopy or scan) of the credit card that was used to purchase the tickets and signed authority note saying they authorize (your name) to collect tickets on their behalf. They can pick them up from the box office here at the Hordern Pavilion from 1 hour prior to the show on the concert day OR they can pick them up from any Ticketek kiosk in the city upon presentation of the authorization letter and / or credit card.


Q) What does GA mean? What does RS mean?

A) GA is General Admission. This is the general configuration of the Hordern and it means that you have the option to sit or stand. However, if you would like to sit down throughout the show we recommend you get there for doors open as there is limited seating at the Hordern. RS is Reserved Seating. This means your show (or your ticket) is in a seated area and your ticket is assigned to a specific seat in the venue. You will be able to find where you are seated by looking at the row number, seat number and section. You can check the seating plan on the event page.

 Q) I'm over 18 but my friend under 18 - if we buy an Over18s ticket and a under 18s ticket will we still be able to sit/stand together?

Quick answer - YES! We have two tickets types based on being 18 and over OR 17 and under. The reason for this is so we can see what the breakup of ages of those attending the show. Knowing how many Over 18s / Under 18s there are allows us make decisions ahead of time. You do not need to exchange your ticket if you end up with the wrong one. 

Q) I have lost my ticket – what do I do?

A) Please contact us prior to the concert and provide the following details; Name & credit card details (with which you purchased the tickets).  If you realise you have lost your tickets on the day of the show then please head to the box office and speak with a Ticketek Representative. You will need to present your ID and the credit card you used to purchase the tickets. There is a $10 lost ticket fee.

 Q) Can I leave tickets at the box office for my friends to pick up?

A) Yes you are able to leave tickets with a Ticketek Representative however we take no responsibility if the tickets are not collected before the box office is closed.


Q) I’ve bought Reserved Seated tickets – where can I view a map to see my seats?

A) Best place to check is on the event page or if the map isn’t up yet check Ticketek event page > Venue Information – Hordern Pavilion > Venue Map.

Q) Accessible Seating Bookings

A) If you would like to purchase accessible seating tickets for a show please contact Ticketek via phone 1300 665 915 to book.

Venues and promoters allocate seats at their events to cater to:

·         Wheelchair seating

·         Companion card holders

·         Seating with limited steps

·         Vision and hearing impairments; and

·         other accessibility requirements

Q) I purchased my tickets from a 2nd hand seller will they be valid?

A) Ticketek is the official ticket seller for all concerts at the Hordern Pavilion, tickets purchased from other outlets (Viagogo, Ticketmaster resale etc.) cannot be guaranteed as valid tickets.

Q) I want to purchase tickets for my child. Do I have to accompany them to the show?

A) If your child is 15 years or under we recommend they be accompanied by a responsible adult. 

Q) My friend/parent/etc. bought my tickets, so it has the wrong name on it. Will I be allowed in?

A) Yes, if you hold a valid Ticketek ticket the name will not affect entry.

Q) What time does the concert finish? If I am picking up someone up where should I stop?

A) Most concerts finish around 11.00 – 11.30pm. We publish the show times to the event page in the days leading up to the event, so check our webpage and social media first.

We recommend you steer clear of Errol Flynn Boulevard and pick up from Driver Ave where there are parking spots opposite the Hordern Pavilion.

Q) Where is lost property?

A) Lost property during the night will go to the Information desk located in Foyer of the Hordern; patrons can complete a lost property form and hand in. Anything left over at the end of the night will come up to the Hordern offices. Please note that anything not collected after 2 weeks from date of the event is disposed of by PVM.

Q) Can I bring food to the Hordern Pavilion?

A) As a condition of entry, no commercial food or drink to be brought into the venue. For a full list of prohibited items please see here.

Q) Do you have bars and food at the Hordern Pavilion?

A) Yes, you can buy hot food, snacks and drinks at the Hordern. 

Q) I want to eat before coming into the show, is there anywhere to eat around the venue?

A)  Yes, there are several restaurants and bars around the Entertainment Quarter. For more information check out the Entertainment Quarter webpage here.

Q) Is there a cloakroom available?

A) Yes, there is a cloakroom as you enter the venue – cost per item is $3. Note If you have a backpack or bag bigger than 30cm x 30cm, it will need to be cloaked before entering the venue and cannot be re-accessed until leaving the venue. Please see entry guards for size guide. On collecting cloaked items please be patient as there may be delays depending on the volume of items checked at the event.

Q) Can I bring my children to the event?

A) Please check the concert is not 18+ age restricted. Otherwise events are mostly Licensed All Ages and we recommend that patrons 15 years and under be accompanied by a responsible adult. 

Whilst we allow children to attend please give some consideration as to whether the environment is right for them. Some performers may have content and/or lyrics which you may consider inappropriate for children and as a licensed event alcohol will be available to patrons 18 years and older.

For parents considering bringing a baby - bringing your child is at your discretion, however not recommended. If you do decide to bring your child we highly recommend providing suitable ear protection. 

Q) My child is under 18, will there be alcohol at this concert?

A) Most of our shows are Licenced All Ages which means we sell alcohol at the show however all our bars are strictly managed and you must provide valid photo ID to purchase alcohol. 

Q) Can I leave the venue once I have gone in, and return later?

A) No, there are no pass outs once you are inside the venue, if you leave the event you will not be allowed re-entry. 

Q) Are there ATMs inside?

A) Yes, there are two ATMs located beside the Bar opposite Door 1.

Q) Can I bring Recording Equipment, cameras?

A) No, Large format and professional cameras (with detachable lenses) and audio or video recording devices are strictly prohibited.  Small personal ‘point and shoot’ cameras and mobile phone cameras are allowed.  Prohibited items may be confiscated so if in doubt leave it at home or in the venue cloakroom facilities. Q) I’ve lost my I.D can I still come the event?

A) If the event is licensed all ages then yes, however you will not be able to consume alcohol inside the venue. If the event is 18 plus age restricted you must have a valid form of photo ID. If you lose your ID, we suggest you contact one of these agencies to request an express replacement. 


Q) Where can I park?

A) The Entertainment Quarter has a multi storey car park located on Errol Flynn Boulevard (off Land Road). The first two hours are free and a flat rate of $7 applies after 6:00pm. Event parking days are $25 unless validated at the concert before paying. You can validate your parking ticket at the Cloak Room in the Hordern Pavilion.

Q) How can I get to Moore Park?

A) We are situated 10 minutes from the CBD, next to Fox Studios. There are a number of buses that stop by the Entertainment Quarter 339 and 374 both stop just behind the Hordern Pavilion. Timetables and maps can be found on For more information visit Transport & Parking.

Q) I would like to work for the Hordern Pavilion, do you have any jobs going? Do you take interns?

A) If we have any positions available we will post them on our Employment page or check our facebook page Unfortunately, due to the small size of our team we don't take interns.
